The main task of the chief mechanic is to ensure the smooth and technically correct use and safe operation of the equipment, increasing its number of shifts, the content in working condition at the required level of accuracy.
On the basis of the main tasks for the department shall have the following functions:
Development of standard materials for repair of equipment, material consumption for maintenance purposes;
Cost estimates for repairs and design of applications for purchase of materials and spare parts needed to operate the equipment.
